Author You've Read the Most Books From:
Definitely Jennifer L. Armentrout! She's my favorite author, I seriously love her. I've read almost every book she's ever published. Altogether I've read 14 of her books and I'm excited to read more!
Best Sequel Ever:
Either Scarlet by Marissa Meyer or Unravel Me by Tahereh Mafi. Hmmmmm . . . Can I pick both?
City of Lost Souls by Cassandra Clare! Yes, people, I'm finally reading it!!
Drink of Choice While Reading:
Hmmmmm . . . I don't really drink anything while reading, but if I had to choose, it would have to be water. I'm not normally a spiller, but better safe than sorry with me.
E-reader or Physical Book:
Physical books all the way! I'll occasionally read on my Nook, but I prefer to have the actual book in my hands!
Fictional Character You Probably Would Have Actually Dated in High School:
Oh. Well, I'm in high school at the moment and I don't know if I would actually date them, but if I have to choose I'd say Simon Lewis from The Mortal Instruments.
Glad You Gave This Book a Chance:
Oh, this is too hard! Okay, let's see. Cinder by Marissa Meyer. I didn't really want to read this at first, because, well, I didn't think I would like it. But then my friend Hailey bought it, and let me borrow it, and then BAM! Insta-love! So, yeah. Cinder. Cinder. Cindeeeerrrr.
Hidden Gem Book:
The Sweet Trilogy by Wendy Higgins. The first two books that are currently out are Sweet Evil and Sweet Peril. I don't think many people know about these books and that's a shame, because they're both really good.
Important Moment in Your Reading Life:
Starting this blog, for sure. Without Escape Reality Through Books, I most definitely would not have read so many amazing books.
The Girl of Fire and Thorns by Rae Carson.
Kinds of Books You Won't Read:
Nonfiction books. Unless they're for school, of course. That's the only exception.
Longest Book You've Read:
Probably Breaking Dawn with 756 pages! Go me!
Major Book Hangover Because Of:
All of Jennifer Armentrout's books! That girl knows how to get to the feels!
Number of Bookcases You Own:
I have 3 bookcases! One big one next to my window, another next to my closet which has my TV on top of it, and one behind my bed!
One Book You've Read Multiple Times:
Probably Let the Sky Fall by Shannon Messenger. I've read that baby, like, 5 times because I can't get enough of it.
Preferred Place to Read:
My couch! It's just so comfy!
Quote that inspires you/gives you all the feels from a book you’ve read:
"A sliver of hope sneaks past my walls and I slam every opening shut. Emotion is evil. People who make me feel are worse. I take comfort in the stone inside of me. If I don't feel, I don't hurt."
~Dare You To by Katie McGarry
I'm not sure why, but I really do love this quote.
Hmmmm . . . I don't think I have any reading regrets. The only thing I can think of is having so many book in my TBR pile and knowing that I probably won't be able to read them all.
Series You Started And Need To Finish(all books are out in series):
I really want to finish the Soul Screamers series! I have all the book waiting for me on my shelf just begging me to read them! Tod. Enough said.
Three of your All-Time Favorite Books:
You want me to choose? Le sigh. Okay, here we go. Let the Sky Fall by Shannon Messenger, The 5th Wave by Rick Yancey, and Scarlet by Marissa Meyer.
Unapologetic Fangirl For:
Jennifer L. Armentrout. I love absolutely everything she writes and . . . She's just awesome! I have a huge fangirl moment whenever I get my hands on one of her books.
Very Excited For This Release More Than All The Others:
I can't decide between Cress by Marissa Meyer and Let the Storms Break by Shannon Messenger. I need both of these, like, yesterday.
Worst Bookish Habit:
I don't do this anymore, but I used to dog-ear the pages in my books all the time. Now I can't do that anymore because I get anxiety over it! I'm hurting the books!
X Marks The Spot: Start at the top left of your shelf and pick the 27th book:
What? Alright, here we go. *counts* And it is . . . Onyx by Jennifer L. Armentrout. Seriously, no lie. That's what it is.
Your latest book purchase:
Origin by Jennifer L. Armentrout and Dualed by Elsie Chapman. I'm really excited to start both of these soon!
ZZZ-snatcher book (last book that kept you up WAY late):
Unearthly by Cynthia Hand. I stayed up until probably 3 a.m. finishing this. And it was worth it!
